1950's Saks Fifth Avenue iridescent brocade cocktail dress with draped off-the-shoulder neckline. The fabric is a medium weight brocade with hints of blue, silver and gold. The cocktail itself is form-fitting, hugging the bust, waist and hips. The draped neckline starts at the bust, crisscrosses at the center neckline, wraps around the shoulders and comes to a point in the back with three buttons. The wrap and upper bodice is lined with a light blue rayon, the dress is otherwise unlined. Metal zipper up the back. Get it here

1970s caftan gown

Delicate bohemian blue ombre dyed silk chiffon 1970s caftan gown with hand painted neckline and peaked detail on sleeves over fitted sky blue silk jersey gown, a very early piece by HALSTON. Caftan has rounded neckline with coral, aqua and pewter necklace effect hand painted onto textile, keyhole neckline in back with loop and button closure. Seams come to peaks toward elbow of "sleeves", small openings for hands....loads of fabric draping between sleeve and body of caftan. Blue turns from soft sky to indigo as it reaches the asymetrical hemline. Get it here

An amazing, graceful, grecian cocktail dress from the early 1980's (selling vintage from the 80's does make me feel old!). Draped, wrapped column dress of black rayon jersey. Embroidered Cream Tulle 1950's Wedding Dress w/ Cropped Jacket

The color of this dress is a little perplexing... at first I thought it was discolored and went to put it on the "to be cleaned" rack, but then I realized that the dress is actually meant to be cream and the effect of the air space under the gathers/ruffles was giving it a bit of a greyish hue... it still may not be 100% as bright as it originally once was, but it is not really discolored as I had originally thought. ANYWAY... the dress is beautiful. Constructed from a lovely floral embroidered tulle. Strapless, asymmetrical bodice with ruffles at the left side. Dress has a super full ruffled.tiered skirt wth an embroidered tulle overlay (shown with a crinoline... not included). Rear metal zipper (zipper is fully functional, the dress was just too small for the form). Matching cropped jacket with button front and buttoned sleeves.Get it here

1950's Long Sweet Heart Wedding Dress- S

This gorgeous vintage gown is from the late 40's early 50's, made of ivory white rayon liner with lots of sheer frilly tulle on top. It has a side metal zipper, boning in the bodice with a sweat heart neckline, the bust is covered in ruched tulle. It has a long very full skirt that is 3 layers: a soft gauze under the taffeta & tulle frills. It would make an adorable wedding dress. It is white, but not a stark pure bright white, more of an pale ivory white. Gorgeous!Get it here

1950's Cahill Beverly Hills Designer Wedding Gown

Here is the most gorgeous vintage wedding dress / gown we have ever had... circa late 40's early 50's. Long, beaded & lace in front, and so glamorous! Something Marilyn Monroe would have worn. Metal zipper in back. You may need a slip underneath it's not see through obviously, but skirt is not lined. Shoulder straps are gathered/ruched and can either be tied in a bow or left hanging, we show it both ways. The fabric is a very pale ivory not pure stark white and we think it's a silk but it's not labeled so we're not sure. It could be a fine flowy taffeta. It doesn't matter it is stunning and Cahill was known for their top of the line couture quality dresses. Get it here

1950's Ballerina Wedding Dress Set - M

Our current favorite wedding dress hands down! So rare and hard to find...circa mid 50's... in a complete original set. Never worn old stock from a bridal store that closed many years ago, but this was kept covered and preserved very well. It's in it's original matching state of a strapless ballerina tea length style dress with little lace jacket & matching pearl & beaded tiara... Add a veil easily if you wish. Skirt is very full with tons of white tulle and ivory colored lace inserts in the front, sides, & back. Buttons in the back, has a boned bodice & rayon liner. The little simple sheer jacket has one button in front. Simply the cutest vintage wedding dress we've ever had. We can see Audrey Hepburn in this!Get it here

1940's White Tulle Strapless Dress

As soon as we first saw this we fell in love...it's so romantic with the soft pink original vintage roses on the front and sprinkled on the hip on one side. This would make the most adorable wedding dress. You could even add more white tulle to make it fuller if you like but we like it as is. Metal zipper on one side, boned strapless bodice, ivory acetate liner is not pure white it's creamy ivory. 2 layers of white tulle on top. Skirt is not overly full or circle, it's more subtle, more 40's than 50's. Get it here

1940's Embroidered Bows Wedding Dress

This is one of the most beautiful and perfect vintage wedding dresses we've had... Ever! Circa late 40's early 50's. The bodice is made of the finest silk chiffon with gold colored metal thread embroidered with bows all over. It's also ruched so delicately, even the straps are ruched and hang so glamorously. Lined in cream rayon with 2 layers of tulle on the top. There's a little delicate brass zipper on one side. Bodice is fully lined. This fabric is not pure bright white. Amazing!Get it here
