Delicate bohemian blue ombre dyed silk chiffon 1970s caftan gown with hand painted neckline and peaked detail on sleeves over fitted sky blue silk jersey gown, a very early piece by HALSTON. Caftan has rounded neckline with coral, aqua and pewter necklace effect hand painted onto textile, keyhole neckline in back with loop and button closure. Seams come to peaks toward elbow of "sleeves", small openings for hands....loads of fabric draping between sleeve and body of caftan.
